We’re starting as a pop-up kitchen and growing into a shared space for food, art, and ideas.
This is the place to learn about the behind-the-scenes of Third Place: the food, the process, the producers behind it. Our goal for you is to become excited about the food, the vision, and the people behind it.
At Third Place Annapolis, we believe thriving cities are built on connection — places where people, creativity, and opportunity meet. We’re creating a vibrant hub that blends food, art, and entrepreneurship to strengthen the social and economic fabric of Annapolis.
More than a marketplace, Third Place is a model for renewal: a place where local businesses grow, artists are celebrated, and neighbors find belonging. Every plate served, every concert hosted, every conversation shared contributes to a deeper goal — building a community that’s proud of its people, its culture, and its future.
We are sending out surveys and gathering results to determine a menu, pricing, and more.
Food: We plan to find a commercial kitchen to rent for a single night (likely in early December 2025). For those on our email list, you will be notified about the date, the menu, and a link to pre-order your food.
Art: Find a location for a pop-up gallery for a single night.
This is where we are relying on you. This is how things get better as we go, so when we get to scale up, it’s already something you like.
At each pop-up we host, we want to hear from you on ways we can improve. We know it is likely not going to be perfect when we start, but we can get closer with your help.
We will rinse and repeat steps 2 and 3 until we are in a place where getting a brick-and-mortar location is a reality. Obviously, there are a lot of other steps that will be behind everything in this list. But each step is to demonstrate to ourselves, you, and any funders that this place has proof of concept and is something Annapolis needs. All these practical things are just the vehicle in which we can arrive to the bigger picture of building a community that’s proud of its people, its culture, and its future.
